Poem: You Might Awake
You Might Awake
You lock your door.
I find no key.
If love is there,
it’s kept from me!
No one can enter
into your space.
If you feel love,
you show no trace.
You guard your heart
in padded room -
as if my love
would spell your doom!
You might awake
one day and see,
your ‘Distance’ has taken
the best of me!
